To begin with, innoSoli is making a difference to individuals by creating dignity through technology. Around 14 million hectares of land in the global south are farmed by smallholder farmers, many of whom are illiterate or semi-literate. The innoSoli app provides these rural farmers with accessible information that enables them to move to positive climate practices, reduce their costs, mitigate risks and ultimately, ensure a secure income for their families.

And by addressing #ClimateChange and helping to secure our food systems, innoSoli is also making a positive impact that reaches far beyond their immediate userbase. I am proud to help them accelerate their impact even further through Microsoft’s Entrepreneurship for Positive Impact initiative and our Accelerator program with The Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship.
